How I Can Help
I offer flexible, person-centred online therapy for adults dealing with a wide range of challenges. This page gives an overview of the areas I work with and the specialist support available. Each area has its own dedicated page where you can learn more.
Online Therapy All sessions are held via a secure video platform, giving you the flexibility to connect from wherever feels most comfortable for you. Online therapy can fit easily into your schedule while being just as effective as in-person sessions. Whether you are looking for a few sessions or longer-term support, we will find what works for you. Areas of Support I work with adults across a wide range of concerns: - Abuse and domestic violence
- Anxiety and low mood
- Coercive control
- Cultural issues and cross-cultural challenges
- Discrimination
- Gender-based violence
- Institutional betrayal
- Relationship difficulties
- Stress and burnout
- Trauma and its long-term impact
- Work-related issues Many of these areas overlap, and your therapy does not need to fit neatly into one category. We will work with whatever you bring. Power and Control I have particular experience supporting clients affected by coercive control, domestic abuse, gender-based violence, stalking, and DARVO. These are interconnected patterns of harm that can have a profound impact on every area of life. I understand how these dynamics work and how therapy can help you make sense of what has happened, rebuild your sense of self, and move forward safely. Power and Control Institutional and Systemic Harm When the systems and organisations that are supposed to protect you become part of the problem, the impact can be devastating. I work with clients navigating institutional betrayal, workplace discrimination, racism, and cross-cultural harm - helping you process the experience and find a way through. Institutional and Systemic Harm Trauma Impact Trauma affects people in different ways. Some experience anxiety, hypervigilance, or emotional numbness. Others find themselves stuck in patterns they cannot explain. I work with clients to understand how past experiences are showing up in the present - whether that manifests as stress, burnout, trauma responses, or nervous system dysregulation. Trauma Impact Trauma Recovery Recovery from trauma is not a straight line. I support clients through the process of trauma processing and rebuilding trust - in themselves, in others, and in the world around them. This work takes time and patience, and I am here for as long as you need. Trauma Recovery Online Therapy UK All my sessions are online, making therapy accessible wherever you are in the UK. I work via Zoom and other secure platforms, and I support clients who prefer online therapy for reasons of convenience, accessibility, or privacy. Online Therapy UK
Frequently asked questions
What issues do you work with?
I work with abuse, anxiety, coercive control, cultural issues, discrimination, domestic abuse, gender-based violence, institutional betrayal, stress, trauma, and work-related issues. Many of these areas overlap, and your therapy does not need to fit into a single category.
Do you offer short-term or long-term therapy?
Both. Some clients find a few focused sessions helpful for a specific issue. Others benefit from longer-term work to explore deeper patterns. The approach is always tailored to what is right for you, and we can review as we go.
How do I know which type of support I need?
You do not need to know in advance. Book an initial assessment session and we will explore together what you are looking for and what might be most helpful. There is no wrong answer.
Can you help with something not listed here?
If you are unsure whether I can help with what you are going through, please get in touch. The areas listed above are the most common reasons clients come to me, but they are not exhaustive. We can discuss your situation in an initial call.
Not sure which area fits your situation? That is completely fine. I offer a short, free introductory call so we can talk it through before you decide. Get in Touch

Frequently asked questions
How do I start therapy with you?
The first step is to get in touch to arrange a free introductory call, which lasts around 15 minutes. This is a chance to tell me a little about what you are looking for and to ask any questions. If we both feel it is a good fit, we arrange an initial assessment session of up to 90 minutes (£90). After that, we begin regular weekly sessions of 50 minutes (£70 per session).
Do you offer couples, family or group therapy?
No. I offer individual therapy only. I work one-to-one with adults aged 18 and over. If you are looking for couples therapy, family therapy or group work, I would recommend checking the BACP therapist directory at bacp.co.uk to find a practitioner who specialises in those areas. I am happy to help you think about what kind of support might suit you during the introductory call.
